Real Estate transactions involve a number of different documents that are required to close a transaction. Title | Pipe™ uses an On-Ready Document Solution that ensures that your transaction documents are handled securely and efficiently. Each transaction includes a documents section that is managed by authorized transaction users. There are two ways in which authorized transaction users can upload documents:
- Drag & Drop
- Log in to Title I Pipe and open the transaction that the documents are to be associated with. --
- Select the document you wish to upload and drag the file to the "Drag & Drop New Files Here" header at the top of the documents section.
- Drop the document into the section.
- The document preview window will show the upload document settings. The document file name can be changed in the "File Name" section.
- Select the appropriate document type and name from the drop down menus. If you do not see that correct document type or are unsure of the document type, you may select "Other" and proceed to the next step.
- On-Ready document permissions. The On-Ready solution creates permissions for your document based upon the document name and category. These permissions are set according to standard best practice and regulatory requirements for Real Estate transaction. Any user with Modify privileges, including the document owner can update the document permissions as needed.
- Once the document settings are complete, select "Save" at the bottom of the document screen and your document will upload.
- A green "Upload is complete" notification will flash in the upper left corner of your screen when the upload is complete
- A notification will be sent to the document audience notifying them that the document is now available for them in Title | Pipe™.
- File Upload --
- Log in to Title I Pipe and open the transaction that the documents are to be associated with.
- Select the "Upload" option at the top of the document lists. This will open a dialogue box and you will need to navigate to the local directory or share drive that your document is currently located in.
- Select the document you wish to upload and click "Open" in the dialogue box.
- The document preview window will show the upload document settings. The document file name can be changed in the "File Name" section.
- Select the appropriate document type and name from the drop down menus. If you do not see that correct document type or are unsure of the document type, you may select "Other" and proceed to the next step.
